Calacatta is a white t background with distinct thicker veining. Statuary is a more white background to thick veining. White Carrara is a grayish tone background with grey think veining. You cannot go wrong with choosing any of these beautiful natural stones.

As such as you would like it, a white quartz stone will look great and resemble a natural stone-like Calacatta or even white Carrara but will never be the same. Natural Stone just looks more elegant and real. Now if your kitchen is very busy and you know you cannot have a natural marble then Quartz is the best way to go it is more durable.
A lot of people confuse the two stones with each other. Calacatta has a white base with thick veining and White Carrara is more of a grey base with grey veining, of course, there are some White Carrara that you can find that are whiter but more expensive. The other difference between them is that Calacatta Marble is double if not triple the price of a White Carrara. Either way, you go, you cannot go wrong they are both beautiful as a kitchen countertop.
